The blade is traditionally hand-forged from folded high-carbon pattern steel. Repeated folding creates a mesmerizing, layered visual grain (hada) while enhancing the steel's toughness and structural resilience.
Clay Tempered with Real Hamon
Differentially clay tempered by master smiths, cooling the edge rapidly to achieve an impressive edge hardness of approx. 60 HRC, while keeping the spine shock-absorbent. This forms a naturally developed, undulating Hamon temper line.
Full Tang Construction
The tang extends securely throughout the entire handle, fastened in the traditional manner to ensure authentic balance and collector-grade durability.
Hand-Carved Pure Copper Mountings
The Tsuba, collar, pommel, and Ashi hangers are sculpted from pure solid copper with exquisite hand-carved detailing.
Handmade Gold-Dust Red Cloud Lacquered Saya
